I. Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms: By using this platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, please cease using this platform immediately.

Amendments to Terms: The Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute of the Macao Special Administrative Region (IPIM) reserves the right of final decision regarding these Terms and may amend these Terms without prior notice. These Terms are available in Simplified/Traditional Chinese, English, and Portuguese. In the event of any discrepancy, the Traditional Chinese version shall prevail.

Scope of Services: This platform provides online application, membership management, privilege redemption, and business matching services for the “Macao Global MICE Partner Alliance Program.”

II. User Responsibilities

Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account and password, and for all activities conducted under your account. If you discover any unauthorized use, please notify IPIM immediately.

Data Authenticity: You must ensure that all information provided during registration is true, accurate, and complete. If any information changes, please update it promptly.

Lawful Use: You agree to use this platform only for lawful purposes and not to engage in any illegal or infringing activities, or other activities that harm the interests of third parties.

Prohibited Conduct: You must not engage in any of the following conduct: (a) unauthorized access or attempted unauthorized access to the system; (b) transmitting viruses or malicious code; (c) abusing or misusing platform resources; or (d) impersonating any person or entity.

III. Intellectual Property Rights

Platform Content: All content on this platform, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and designs, is protected by intellectual property rights and is owned by IPIM or the relevant rights holders.

License to Use: Without prior written authorization from IPIM, you may not copy, modify, distribute, display, or create derivative works from such content.

IV. Disclaimer

Service “As Is”: This platform is provided on an “as is” and "as available" basis. IPIM does not warrant that the services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, IPIM shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this platform.

Authorization and Responsibility for Submitted Content: Any text, images, logos, photos, event information, privilege content, and other materials submitted, uploaded, published, or provided by users through this platform shall be the sole responsibility of the submitter. The submitter confirms that they have the right to provide and authorize the platform to use such materials, and that the relevant materials do not violate any laws or regulations or infringe upon any third party’s intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, or other legitimate rights and interests.

The submitter agrees to authorize IPIM and its authorized service providers to use, edit, excerpt, translate, reformat, display, publish, or distribute the submitted materials within a reasonably necessary scope for the purposes of approval, display, management, publicity, promotion, administrative follow-up, and platform operation under this Program. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, such authorization shall not affect the submitter’s lawful rights in the relevant materials.

If any materials submitted by a user contain errors, omissions, false information, infringement, or illegality, or give rise to third-party complaints, claims, or disputes, the submitter shall bear the relevant responsibility. IPIM and its authorized service provider have the right to require correction, suspend display, remove the relevant content, or terminate the relevant eligibility.

Third-Party Links: This platform may contain links to third-party websites. IPIM shall not be responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of such websites.

When accessing third-party websites or using third-party services, users shall understand and comply with the applicable terms, privacy policies, and transaction rules of such third-party websites or services. The provision of third-party website links, information, or access points on the platform does not constitute any recognition, recommendation, guarantee, or commitment by IPIM or its authorized service providers regarding such third-party websites, products, services, advertisements, information, or transactions.

Any online or offline interactions, transactions, payments, deliveries, reservations, service performance, warranties, representations, disputes, or claims between users and any third-party websites, partner merchants, providers, institutions, or individuals are solely between the user and such third party and are unrelated to IPIM and its authorized service provider. Users should conduct any checks they consider necessary or appropriate before entering into any transaction or interaction.

IPIM and its authorized service providers shall not assume any direct or indirect liability for any losses, damages, disputes, claims, or responsibilities arising from the use of, reliance on, access to, or inability to access any third-party websites, products, services, or information.

V. Termination of Services

Right of Termination: IPIM reserves the right to suspend or terminate the provision of services to you at any time without prior notice.

Consequences of Termination: After termination of services, you may no longer be able to access platform resources or enjoy the relevant privileges.

VI. Governing Law

Governing Law: These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of the Macao Special Administrative Region.

Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from these Terms or from the use of this platform may be resolved by mutual agreement or submitted to the competent courts of the Macao Special Administrative Region.
